Join a Canadian capital markets and securities group in Vancouver advising public and private issuers, investment banks and other market participants. The role focuses on transactional capital markets work including public offerings, prospectuses, filing statements, information circulars and agency/underwriting agreements.

The successful candidate will apply securities laws and exchange rules to day-to-day client matters, respond proactively under tight deadlines, and support related private M&A and corporate documentation as required. The team serves clients across sectors such as mining/natural resources, technology, industrial and healthcare.

Applicants must be in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia and prepared to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment. Please be ready to provide a recent deal sheet with your application.

2–5 years post-call securities/capital markets experience
Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
Proven drafting skills for prospectuses, filing statements, circulars and agency/underwriting agreements
Strong technical knowledge of securities laws and exchange rules; ability to work under tight deadlines
Experience with private M&A and drafting share/asset purchase agreements is an asset
