Senior in-house facing role within a global law firm’s Technology practice. You will be the primary point of contact for client queries about the use of artificial intelligence, translating technical risks into practical, compliant legal guidance and supporting client pitches, onboarding and training.

The role leads firm-wide AI risk activity: developing and maintaining client-facing and internal AI risk guidance, coordinating vendor and procurement due diligence, advising on contract terms, and integrating regulatory and ethical developments into firm policy and incident response.

Work is collaborative and matrixed — you will coordinate with Innovation, Technology, Procurement, Security and the Office of General Counsel to maintain consistent global approaches to AI risk and to support regulatory responses and internal upskilling.

Qualified lawyer with prior experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
Strong background in legal AI, technology, innovation or risk management — ideally with exposure to vendor due diligence and contractual terms for AI products
Good understanding of AI technologies, associated legal and regulatory risks, and professional conduct considerations for lawyers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical issues to legal and non‑technical stakeholders
Proven project and stakeholder management skills and ability to work across global, matrixed teams
