Apply in confidence →Experienced employment litigator role supporting a dedicated client team defending employers in single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation. The position focuses on full-cycle defense work: developing strategy, legal research, drafting pleadings, managing discovery and motion practice, and preparing dispositive motions.
This is a flexible, remote-eligible role designed for candidates who want substantive litigation responsibility without shareholder/partner business-development expectations and with a lower billable-hours target. The attorney will remain closely engaged in litigation activities (depositions, motions, mediations, trial support as needed) and will have access to firmwide training and professional-development resources.
Candidates must reside in a state where the hiring firm maintains a physical office; occasional in-person participation may be required for team events and training.
- Active and good-standing admission to the California bar (and any other jurisdiction required by the attorney’s state of residence)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant employment litigation experience (law firm or in-house)
- Demonstrated full-cycle litigation skills: strategy, pleadings, discovery, motions, and dispositive practice
- Strong legal writing, analytical, organizational, and client-service skills
- Comfortable working remotely: self-motivated, accountable, and responsive
- Proven ability to collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and clients; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
