Apply in confidence →Senior counsel position supporting a dedicated client team in a national labor & employment practice. The role focuses on defending employers in single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation across pre-trial and trial phases, with primary responsibilities in strategy, research, pleadings, discovery management, motion practice and dispositive motions.
This is a flexible, non-partner track role designed for experienced litigators who want a lower administrative and client-development burden and a reduced billable target compared with shareholder/partner track attorneys. The position is remote but requires residency in a state where the firm maintains a physical office and occasional in-person work as needed for depositions, motions, mediations or trial.
The hire will have access to firm-wide training and development programs and participate in annual firm events.
- Active bar membership and good standing in required jurisdiction(s); must maintain California bar admission.
- Minimum 5+ years of employment litigation experience (law firm or in-house).
- Proven litigation skills: legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery management, and motion practice.
- Strong writing, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; comfort collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
