Commercial Litigation Associate — London (4-5 PQE)

An established London litigation team is seeking a commercially minded associate with 4–5 years' post-qualification experience to join their commercial disputes group. The role offers hands-on involvement across a varied caseload including contract, shareholder and fraud-related claims, with exposure to both smaller independent matters and larger team-led litigation and arbitration.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior lawyers on strategy and execution, draft pleadings and interim applications, manage disclosure and evidence, liaise with counsel and experts, and attend hearings, mediations and client meetings. There is scope to contribute to business development and to develop a visible client-facing profile within the practice.

• 4–5 years' PQE in commercial litigation (England & Wales qualification expected)
• Proven experience running smaller matters independently and contributing to larger disputes teams
• Strong drafting, advocacy and legal research skills; comfortable drafting pleadings, evidence and interim applications
• Client-facing experience and the ability to manage day-to-day client communications
• Commercial judgement, adaptability and a proactive approach to case management and BD
