An established international law firm is seeking an experienced commercial litigation staff attorney to support a busy litigation portfolio in Washington state. The role focuses on defense of commercial disputes, consumer-related matters, personal injury, and premises liability across state and federal courts.

Key responsibilities include drafting and managing pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement materials; conducting legal research and practical analysis; handling local court appearances, depositions, hearings, mediations, and electronic filings; and coordinating with out-of-state counsel and stakeholders to advance efficient case resolution.

Active license to practice in Washington state and good standing
Minimum of 5 years litigation experience in Washington state and federal courts
Strong knowledge of Washington civil procedure, local court rules, and federal practice
Experience with drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and courtroom advocacy (depositions/hearings)
Excellent legal writing, oral communication, attention to detail, and case-management skills
Preference for candidates with defense experience in consumer disputes, premises liability, or personal injury matters
