Commercial Real Estate Staff Attorney — Washington, DC

Established national law firm seeks an experienced commercial real estate staff attorney to join a busy transactional practice in the Washington, D.C. metro area (options include Washington, Baltimore or Tysons Corner offices). The role focuses on commercial acquisition, development, financing, leasing and dispositions across a range of asset types.

The team handles full-cycle real estate matters; the successful candidate will perform title and survey due diligence, draft and negotiate transactional documents, coordinate closings, and advise on structuring and risk allocation. The group values attention to detail, strong client service, and practical problem-solving.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
• Approximately 8 years of law firm commercial real estate experience (acquisitions, development, financing, leasing, dispositions)
• Proficiency with title and survey due diligence and transactional documentation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters
