Commercial Real Estate Staff Attorney — Washington, DC

Well-established national law firm seeks an experienced commercial real estate staff attorney to join its Real Estate group in the Washington, DC area (role may be based in DC, Baltimore, or Tysons Corner). The role focuses on transactional real estate work across acquisition, development, financing, leasing and dispositions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating real estate agreements, conducting title and survey due diligence, supporting closings and financings, and advising on leasing and disposition matters. The team handles matters for a mix of domestic and international clients across corporate, financing and development transactions.

• Minimum of 8 years of law firm commercial real estate experience
• Proven experience with acquisitions, development, financings, leasing, dispositions and title/survey due diligence
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to and in good standing with a relevant state bar
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-facing communication skills
