Seeking an associate to join a national compensation & benefits practice based in New York. The role focuses on equity and executive compensation matters across corporate transactions, public filings and employment arrangements.

Work will include advising on equity plans and awards, executive employment and severance agreements, proxy disclosure, IRC Sections 280G and 409A issues, and compensation aspects of M&A and IPO work. The team handles matters for public and private company clients.

  • 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in compensation & benefits/ERISA counseling
  • Practical experience with equity-based compensation, executive compensation, proxy disclosures, and employment/severance agreements
  • Knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A and experience supporting M&A and IPO transactions
  • Excellent academic record and strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills
