Mid-level associate role in a busy Compensation & Benefits practice based in New York. The team advises on equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosure, employment and severance agreements, tax-sensitive issues (IRC Sections 280G and 409A), and compensation aspects of M&A and IPO transactions.

The group seeks a collaborative lawyer with strong drafting, analytical and client-facing skills. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, parental and fertility benefits, and a structured benefits orientation for new hires. Expected annual salary range is $260,000–$390,000 (final offer depends on location and experience).

  • 3–6 years post-qualification experience in compensation & benefits, equity/executive comp, or related corporate employment matters
  • Practical experience with equity plans, proxy disclosures, 280G/409A analysis, and compensation elements of M&A/IPO transactions
  • Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills; strong academic credentials
