Senior associate role within a national compensation & benefits practice, based in New York. The team advises on executive and equity-based compensation matters, with regular work on proxy disclosures, employment and severance agreements, tax-qualified deferred compensation issues, and transactional support for M&A and public offerings.

Ideal candidates will have solid hands-on experience with IRC Sections 280G and 409A, equity plan design and administration, and related disclosure and transactional work. The team offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive market compensation; the posted annual pay range for this role is $260,000–$390,000 (final offer dependent on location and experience).

  • 3–6 years of experience in compensation & benefits or executive compensation practice
  • Practical experience with equity-based compensation, executive compensation arrangements, and proxy disclosures
  • Knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A and experience supporting M&A and IPO-related work
  • Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
