An established national practice is seeking an Associate to join its Compensation & Benefits team. The role focuses on equity and executive compensation matters across corporate transactions and public company work.

Work will include advising on equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosures, employment and severance agreements, tax rules under Sections 280G and 409A, and compensation matters in M&A and IPO contexts. The team handles matters for a range of corporate clients across the United States.

Final pay will depend on geographic location and experience.

  • 3–6 years' post-qualification experience in compensation & benefits/ERISA-related work
  • Substantive experience with equity and executive compensation, proxy disclosures, employment and severance agreements
  • Familiarity with IRC Sections 280G and 409A and compensation issues in M&A and IPO transactions
  • Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills
