We are seeking a mid-level competition associate to join a global EU law and antitrust team based in Brussels. The role offers hands-on, client-facing work across merger control, investigations and regulatory litigation, with significant exposure to cross-border mandates and EU institutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers across multiple jurisdictions, draft regulatory submissions and pleadings, and support complex multijurisdictional matters. The team handles high-profile antitrust mandates and emerging EU regulatory regimes, providing opportunities for early responsibility and international collaboration.

Qualified in Sweden (membership of an EEA Bar required; Swedish qualification highly regarded)
3–5 years' post-qualification experience in competition/antitrust, preferably from a top-tier international or leading Swedish firm
Strong merger control experience and familiarity with EU competition rules and procedures
Excellent legal research, drafting and analytical skills; proven ability in preparing regulatory filings and court pleadings
Client-facing skills, commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-border team
