Join a leading international antitrust team in Brussels advising on complex EU and cross-border competition matters. The role covers merger control, cartel and abuse investigations, state aid and foreign subsidies matters, regulatory work including digital and ESG regulations, and litigation before the EU Courts.

You will draft legal memoranda, regulatory submissions and court pleadings, take ownership of substantial project work, and support senior lawyers in strategy and client-facing matters. The position offers cross-border collaboration across offices and occasional international travel.

The team seeks a commercially minded, diligent associate who can manage tight deadlines, coach more junior colleagues and communicate complex legal issues clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Membership of an EEA Bar (required)
Typically 3–5 years' PQE in competition/ EU law at a top-tier international or highly regarded firm
Practical experience in merger control, antitrust investigations, state aid or Foreign Subsidies Regulation
Experience with EU Court litigation (drafting pleadings, familiarity with procedures) is an advantage
Strong research, drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; team-player with the ability to work independently
