Complex Litigation Mid‑Level Associate — Austin

A U.S. litigation team is seeking a mid‑level associate (approximately 3–6 years' experience) to join its Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice based in Austin. The role involves managing complex commercial disputes from filing through trial across a range of industries, including technology, finance, life sciences, and energy.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include substantive briefing and motion practice, fact and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, mediations/arbitrations, and trial work. The team handles high‑stakes, fast‑paced matters and expects strong client communication and case‑management skills.

• 3–6 years of complex commercial litigation experience (civil trial and discovery experience preferred)
• Strong academic credentials, excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Demonstrated teamwork, client communication skills, and ability to manage complex matters
• Admission or eligibility for admission to the state bar of the office location preferred
