Conflicts Attorney — Compliance & Regulatory (Hybrid/Remote; multiple U.S. offices)

Seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join a national firm’s conflicts and professional responsibility team. The role focuses on researching, reviewing and resolving conflicts-of-interest issues related to new matters and lateral hires, supporting matter openings and ongoing conflicts maintenance.

The attorney will collaborate with conflicts colleagues, ethics counsel, recruiting, claims and practice attorneys to clear matters, draft waivers and ethics walls, review engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines, and document conflict-resolution steps in the conflicts system. This is a hybrid/remote-eligible role based in several U.S. offices.

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in one or more U.S. states
• Minimum 2 years’ experience clearing conflicts, drafting waivers, implementing ethics walls and opening matters at a large law firm
• Minimum 2 years’ experience using Intapp Conflicts (or equivalent conflicts database)
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
• Experience advising attorneys on conflicts clearance, outside counsel guidelines and professional responsibility issues
