Senior conflicts-role within an international law firm’s Singapore office, responsible for managing conflicts clearance for new clients, new matters and lateral hires. The role handles daily analysis of conflicts reports, negotiating and documenting waivers and ethics walls, and advising partners on clearance decisions.

The attorney will work closely with the office legal operations, general counsel functions and practice leaders, supervise resolution analysts, and help maintain conflicts records, templates and screening procedures. The role also reviews outside counsel guidelines and draft engagement letters for compliance with professional responsibility rules.

This is a hands-on position for an experienced conflicts lawyer who can apply professional responsibility rules across jurisdictions, contribute to process improvements and support complex matter intake in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Qualified lawyer/solicitor admitted in an appropriate jurisdiction
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a conflicts/ethics department
Practical knowledge of conflicts principles and professional responsibility rules across jurisdictions
Experience with conflicts/clearance tools (e.g. Intapp) and strong general tech literacy
Excellent written and oral communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
