Seeking a Conflicts Attorney I to join a national law firm's Conflicts & Intake team based in Chicago. The role focuses on new business and lateral hire intake, conflicts clearance, risk assessment, and drafting waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memoranda.

The attorney will analyze searches, advise lawyers on conflicts issues, maintain the conflicts database, assist with research and training, and support special projects including software implementation. The position offers hybrid or fully remote arrangements for candidates within commutable distance of the office and includes opportunities for mentorship and career development.

J.D. and an active U.S. law license
Approximately 2 years' relevant experience in a large law-firm conflicts environment or equivalent associate experience
Strong knowledge of ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and jurisdictional conflicts rules
Experience with Intapp conflicts/new-business intake tools preferred; proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel
Excellent analytical, written/verbal communication, judgment, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and on-call as needed
