Join a large international law firm’s Conflicts team in San Francisco as a Conflicts Attorney I. You will manage new-business and lateral hire intake, conduct conflicts searches and legal research, prepare clearance reports and waivers, and advise attorneys on ethical conflicts and risk-management issues.

The role works closely with lawyers, the conflicts group, and other internal teams to maintain the conflicts database, draft engagement and ethical wall documentation, and support training and process improvements. This position offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility for candidates within commutable distance to the San Francisco office and includes opportunities for mentorship and professional development.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. law license
Approximately 2 years’ relevant experience in a large law firm conflicts group or as a litigation/transactional associate at a large firm
Knowledge of ABA Model Rules and jurisdictional professional-conduct rules
Experience with Intapp (or similar conflicts/new-business intake systems) and strong MS Office skills
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and judgment
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and participate in occasional after-hours on-call rotations
