Join a global law firm’s consulting panel as a capital markets lawyer specialising in debt and equity transactions. This consulting role offers flexible, project-based work across debt capital markets (investment-grade and high-yield bonds, MTN programmes, sovereign bonds, convertibles) and equity capital markets (IPOs, equity offerings and block trades), supporting clients and firm teams on short- to medium-term assignments.

Assignments are varied and can include in-house secondments, advisory roles on live transactions, and supporting firm practice groups on a temporary basis. The role is suited to a self-driven, technically strong lawyer who wants the flexibility of consulting while maintaining access to firm resources, training and a professional support network.

Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in capital markets (debt and/or equity).
Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights and the right to work in Australia.
Prior experience at a top-tier law firm, major financial institution or corporate (including secondee roles) preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of capital markets in common law jurisdictions, excellent client-service focus, commercial acumen and ability to operate autonomously on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
