Typical work includes debt capital markets (investment-grade and high-yield bonds, MTN programmes, sovereign bonds, convertibles/exchangeables) and equity capital markets (IPOs, other equity offerings and block trades), plus liability management exercises.

The programme offers access to firm resources and training, occasional placements within the firm's practice teams, and varied assignments with external clients. Assignments are commonly part-time or fixed-term and suit self-directed candidates wanting consultancy-style careers.

Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
Right to work and reside in Australia
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in capital markets (debt and equity)
Proven technical experience on bonds, convertibles and equity offerings, including IPOs
Experience gained at a top-tier law firm, leading financial institution or corporate (including secondments) preferred
Self-starter comfortable working as a casual consultant or via an independent legal practice
Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and client-service focus
