Opportunity for a consulting capital markets lawyer to join a global consulting platform backed by a major international law firm. Assignments are typically six months or longer and cover debt and equity capital markets work across Asia, including IPOs, bond issuances, MTN programmes, convertible/exchangeable instruments and liability management exercises.

You'll be supported by dedicated onboarding and access to firm training, knowledge and professional resources while working autonomously on high‑quality, multinational matters for corporate and financial institution clients. This role suits a self‑starter who wants control over project selection and the flexibility of consultancy life while retaining exposure to top‑tier capital markets work.

Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience in capital markets at a top‑tier law firm
Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualification to practise in at least one of: England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Strong technical experience in Asian capital markets (debt and equity transactions)
Comfortable operating as a consultant (likely via a personal services vehicle) and able to manage client relationships autonomously
Excellent communication, commercial awareness, resilience and organisational skills; in‑house secondment experience preferred
