This role is for a self‑directed, technically strong lawyer experienced in OTC transactional/advisory work, securitisations (cash and synthetic), structured equity/corporate derivatives, structured credit and commodities transactions.
Assignments are typically project‑based (commonly two to six months) and often require a minimum commitment of four days per week. Work will be varied — ranging from supporting deal teams to leading major transaction or regulatory implementation projects — with the option to take on ad‑hoc internal secondments to firm teams when available.
This is a consultancy arrangement: successful candidates will be expected to manage client delivery independently while drawing on a global network of support and resources.
- Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience at a top‑tier firm in derivatives/structured finance.
- Qualified to practise in at least one of England & Wales, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia.
- Right to live and work in Singapore.
- Strong technical experience in OTC derivatives, securitisations and structured finance transactions, ideally with Asian market experience.
- Proven ability to work in complex, multi‑jurisdictional project teams; excellent communication and client‑service skills; commercial awareness and resilience.
- Willingness/ability to engage in consultancy arrangements (e.g. via a personal services company where required).
