An established global law firm is building a panel of self-directed consultant lawyers in Singapore to support short-to-medium term assignments across finance-focused work. Assignments typically last six months or longer and cover areas such as capital markets, M&A-related corporate work and derivatives/structured finance.

Successful candidates will join a supported consulting programme that provides access to firm resources, training, professional support and global client opportunities while retaining the flexibility of a consulting career. Roles suit experienced, commercially aware lawyers seeking varied project work for major corporate and financial services clients across the region.

Right to work and reside in Singapore
Qualification to practise in at least one of: England & Wales, US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally gained at a top-tier law firm in relevant practice areas
Strong technical knowledge in capital markets, M&A or derivatives; Asia experience preferred
In-house secondment or in-house legal experience advantageous
Excellent academic record, strong commercial awareness and client-service focus
Self-starter able to manage assignments autonomously and operate in multi-national project teams
Exceptional communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
