Experienced financial services regulatory lawyer sought to join a global legal consulting panel delivering regulatory and compliance advice to banks, asset managers, broker‑dealers, insurers and trading platforms across Asia. The role focuses on cross‑border product distribution, licensing, securities trading, custody, conduct rules and data/privacy issues.

Assignments vary from in‑house secondee style roles to project-based placements with law firm teams and corporate clients, typically flexible in duration and often part‑time or reduced days. You will work on transactional and regulatory change matters, supporting multijurisdictional teams and client stakeholders.

The panel provides dedicated consultant support, access to firm legal resources and training, and opportunities for ongoing placements for lawyers committed to a consulting career.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified in at least one major common law jurisdiction (e.g. England & Wales, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia or US)
Minimum 4 years' post‑qualification experience, with strong financial services regulatory experience at a top‑tier law firm
Practical knowledge of cross‑border distribution, licensing, trading/custody and conduct/data matters; Asian experience preferred
Self‑starter, adaptable, strong communicator and able to work autonomously within multi‑functional teams
