Opportunity for an experienced funds and asset management lawyer to join a global consulting platform supporting assignments across funds formation, distribution and investment management work. Roles typically involve six-month-plus engagements advising on fund structuring (retail, private and alternative funds), offerings/registration, distribution and custody/prime brokerage arrangements.

The role suits a self-directed lawyer who wants flexible, high-quality consulting assignments with access to firm resources and cross-border work. You will be deployed on engagements for leading financial institutions, private banks and investment funds and will have access to senior legal support and professional development while working on client matters.

Right to work and reside in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one major common-law jurisdiction (e.g. England & Wales, US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia)
Minimum c.4 years' post-qualification experience in funds/asset management at a top-tier law firm (PQE requirement: 4 years)
Experience in fund formation, offerings/registration, distribution, and investment management agreements (custody/prime brokerage)
In-house secondment or in-house experience at a financial services institution desirable
Prepared to operate via a Personal Services Company or similar consulting vehicle
Self-starter with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a client-service focus
