Short-term and longer consulting opportunities for projects, construction and infrastructure lawyers with experience across Australia and the Middle East. Roles arise with government, developer, contractor and investor clients on large-scale transport, water, waste, energy (including renewables) and PPP matters.

Typical assignments involve project structuring and delivery, project finance, drafting and negotiating construction and services contracts, project due diligence and commercial/regulatory advice. Middle East roles may require relocation or regular travel to the UAE or Saudi Arabia and flexible hours to accommodate time zones.

These opportunities are offered via a global legal consulting platform that provides practice support, training and administrative assistance while you work on client engagements as a consultant.

  • Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience, with some time spent in a major law firm or comparable practice environment
  • Qualified to practise in Australia with an unrestricted practising certificate, or ability to obtain one; right to work and reside in Australia
  • Proven technical experience in projects, construction, infrastructure and project finance; experience across transport, utilities, energy or PPPs preferred
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills for construction, services and maintenance contracts; solid commercial and regulatory judgement
  • Ability to work autonomously on complex, multi‑jurisdictional engagements; client-facing, resilient and adaptable; willingness to travel or relocate for Middle East assignments
