An established national law firm is hiring an experienced mid‑to‑senior employment attorney for a fully remote, part‑time contract role through its alternative‑track attorney program. The attorney will handle demand letters and agency charge matters supporting a large institutional client.

This is a flexible, temporary engagement (anticipated 20–25 hours/week) for an initial six‑month term with possible extension. The role requires independent case management, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and regular collaboration with client teams and outside counsel to meet short deadlines.

  • 5+ years of employment/labor experience in a mid‑to‑large law firm or in‑house team
  • Active bar admission in your state of residence and in a state where the hiring firm maintains an office (residency and admission in CA, OR, or WA preferred)
  • Strong experience with demand letters and agency charge matters and knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Excellent legal writing, research, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervision
  • Availability for approximately 20–25 hours per week; hours may fluctuate
