Apply in confidence →Seeking a litigation attorney to join a large firm's contract-attorney/alternative-staffing program supporting high-volume subpoena response and litigation work for institutional and technology clients. This is a remote role but requires availability to cover West Coast business hours.
The position involves managing multiple matters with competing deadlines, drafting and negotiating third-party subpoenas, and collaborating with firm litigators on programmatic and high-impact matters. The initial engagement is a six-month contract with strong potential for renewal and steady ongoing work.
- 5+ years of litigation experience at a mid-size or large law firm or in-house with institutional/technology clients
- Active bar admission in state of residence and in a state where the firm maintains an office (see job posting for eligible jurisdictions)
- Demonstrated experience responding to and negotiating third-party subpoenas
- Strong case management, drafting, negotiation, and client-communication skills; ability to manage high-volume matters and meet tight deadlines
- Availability for ~30–35 hours/week (potential to increase to 40), ability to work remotely and support West Coast hours
