Corporate Associate — M&A, Ann Arbor

Seeking a corporate associate with 2–3 years of transactional experience to join a national corporate practice based in Ann Arbor. The role focuses on complex M&A and venture transactions, with exposure to emerging-company and early-stage matters.

Successful candidates will work directly with clients and partners, supervise more junior lawyers, and manage a high-volume, deal-oriented workload in a collaborative, team-focused environment. The position offers hands-on responsibility and opportunities for professional growth within a well-established national platform.

• 2–3 years post-qualification transactional experience, with strong M&A and/or venture capital background.
• Experience advising emerging companies, drafting and negotiating commercial and technology/ license agreements, and handling corporate governance matters.
• Practical, client-focused counseling skills; ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients and senior lawyers.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical abilities; proven mentorship or supervisory experience with junior attorneys; strong academic record.
