Short-term (approximately 3 months) full-time contract based in Sydney with hybrid working. Join a commercial real estate-focused legal team as a hands-on corporate/commercial lawyer supporting funds and investment management matters.

The role will support internal stakeholders on acquisitions, corporate transactions, capital raises and debt funding, and manage legal issues for wholesale and private real estate vehicles. You will provide pragmatic commercial advice on investment management agreements, property management arrangements, trust/registered scheme administration, joint ventures and corporate governance.

This is a client-facing, autonomous role where you will liaise with external counsel when required and help maintain a strong culture of regulatory and commercial compliance.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law with funds or investment management exposure
Experience with fund formation, investment management agreements, joint ventures and real estate investment vehicles
Proven ability to support acquisitions, capital raisings and debt funding; strong drafting and negotiation skills
Australian practising certificate and right to work in Australia
Ability to work autonomously, hit the ground running and provide practical commercial advice
