Corporate M&A Associate — Chicago

Growing corporate practice in Chicago seeks a mid-level M&A associate to handle public and private transactions, including private equity deals. The role offers responsibility on complex acquisitions from inception through closing and collaboration across practice groups.

The team handles full-scope deal work: drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary documents, leading due diligence, and advising on general corporate and governance matters. The group values strong drafting, client-focused judgment, and mentoring junior lawyers.

• Minimum 4 years' transactional experience with emphasis on public and private M&A (including private equity)
• Proven drafting and negotiation skills for acquisition agreements and related deal documents
• Experience leading due diligence and managing deal teams
• General corporate and corporate governance experience
• Strong academic record and excellent written and interpersonal skills
• Admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible for admission
