Corporate Transactional Associate — Akron, OH

Growing corporate practice in Akron seeks a transactional associate to support a broad corporate caseload, including M&A, financings and commercial contracting. The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating asset and stock purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, operating and shareholder agreements, commercial and financing agreements, and related transaction documents.

The team advises clients across entity formation, corporate governance, corporate finance, securities compliance, stock‑based compensation and mergers and acquisitions, representing start‑ups, middle‑market and public companies as well as nonprofit organizations.

• 3–7 years of corporate transactional experience, with meaningful M&A and commercial contracting exposure
• Proven ability drafting, reviewing and negotiating asset/stock purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and ancillary transaction documents
• Experience with operating/shareholder agreements, commercial and financing agreements, and related corporate documentation
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
• Admission to the Ohio Bar required
