Counsel, Structured Finance — New York

Senior counsel role on a New York structured finance team advising on repurchase and warehouse facilities, syndicated credit lines, securitizations and other secured finance transactions. The position involves independently managing transactions from initial structuring through closing, and drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex financing and securitization documentation.

Work will cover repurchase agreements, credit agreements, pooling and servicing agreements, indentures, offering materials, intercreditor arrangements and related servicing and collateral issues that support mortgage and asset-backed platforms. The team seeks candidates with strong technical skills, client-facing experience and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary deal teams.

The firm has posted a New York base range starting at $365,000+; actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications and other factors.

• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in structured or secured finance
• Demonstrated experience with repurchase/warehouse facilities, securitizations and syndicated facilities
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills for complex financing documents
• In-depth understanding of mortgage- and asset-backed financing structures, servicing and collateral issues preferred
• Excellent academic credentials and strong interpersonal/client skills
