Top-tier US law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join a national Cyber/Data/Privacy team in New York. The group advises a broad mix of technology, financial, life sciences and media clients on privacy, cybersecurity and data protection matters across counseling, transactional and incident response workstreams.

Day-to-day work includes counseling on CCPA/CPRA and GDPR compliance, privacy-related due diligence and data processing agreements for corporate and technology transactions, and data-breach preparedness and response. The role offers regular client contact, opportunities to lead significant projects, and collaboration with colleagues across US and international offices.

4–7 years' relevant post-qualification experience in privacy, data protection or cybersecurity (private practice or in‑house)
Hands-on experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy frameworks; incident response and breach management; and privacy-related transactional diligence and agreements
Proven ability to manage client matters and lead projects; strong analytical and writing skills
JD from an accredited law school and active admission or eligibility to be admitted in the relevant jurisdiction
