Cyber/Data Privacy Associate — Technology, New York

Join a growing Cyber/Data/Privacy team in New York focused on advisory work for technology companies, financial institutions, life sciences firms and other corporate clients. The group handles counseling and advisory matters, privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, and related regulatory and investigatory work.

The team is expanding its US practice and seeks an associate with experience advising on privacy and data protection compliance, incident response planning, and privacy-related transactional diligence. This role provides regular client-facing responsibility and opportunities to lead significant projects across advisory and transactional matters.

• 4–7 years post-qualification experience advising on privacy, cyber and data protection issues (law firm or in-house).
• Hands-on experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy frameworks; data breach/incident response; data processing agreements and privacy clauses in commercial transactions.
• Strong analytical, drafting and client‑management skills; ability to lead engagements.
• Juris doctor from an accredited law school and excellent academic record.
