Seeking a 3–5 year associate to join a national Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation group. The team counsels clients on privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance across regulatory, transactional, product-counseling, and incident-response matters.

The role involves advising on U.S. state and federal privacy laws and international frameworks, negotiating privacy and security terms in commercial contracts and corporate transactions, and helping design compliance and AI governance programs. This position is open across multiple U.S. offices, including New York.

3–5 years' privacy, cybersecurity, AI, or data-protection experience at a law firm or in-house.
Experience with major privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, COPPA, BIPA) and negotiating privacy/security contract terms.
Familiarity with AI governance and emerging AI regulatory developments preferred.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, project-management, and client-facing skills; strong academic credentials.
J.D. required and admission to the state bar of the office where the candidate will be located; IAPP certifications a plus.
