Seeking a litigation associate with 3–6 years' civil litigation experience to join a busy Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation team in the firm's Austin office. The role involves handling complex, technology-focused disputes including class actions across industry verticals such as technology, finance, life sciences, and energy.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing discovery (with support from eDiscovery and litigation support teams), drafting motions and mediation statements, preparing witnesses for depositions and hearings, and working directly with clients. Candidates with prior cyber/privacy/data-protection litigation experience are strongly preferred.

The team emphasizes collaboration, hands-on training, and mentorship; the position offers exposure to high‑profile, innovative matters and career development support. Membership in the appropriate State Bar is required for the office.

  • J.D. and admission to the State Bar of the hiring office (or eligibility as required)
  • 3–6 years of complex civil litigation experience; cyber/privacy/data litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Proven legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience managing discovery and working with eDiscovery/ litigation support resources
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced teams
