Mid-level associate opportunity in a national technology and privacy practice based in San Francisco. The team advises companies of all sizes on privacy, cybersecurity, breach response, regulatory inquiries, and privacy-related aspects of commercial transactions and vendor agreements.

Work will include drafting privacy notices and policies, negotiating data processing and vendor agreements, supporting incident response and regulatory matters, and helping clients develop AI governance and cross-border data-transfer solutions. The role is on a partner-track in a large global firm with a broad, cross-industry client base.

3+ years post-qualification experience focused on data protection/privacy matters.
Admission to the California Bar and strong academic credentials.
Experience with U.S. and global privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, FTC guidance) and familiarity with HIPAA, FCRA, GLBA and related sector rules.
Experience drafting privacy notices, DPA/vendor agreements, incident response plans, and advising on privacy aspects of transactions; strong writing and client-counseling skills. IAPP CIPP (U.S. and/or EU) strongly preferred.
