Apply in confidence →Senior data privacy role within a global firm's central privacy and risk function, supporting the organisation's GDPR and data-governance programme. The postholder will manage DPIAs, advise on supplier and client-facing privacy terms, and help operationalise data-protection controls across the business.
Key responsibilities include running privacy risk assessments (including for new AI tools), maintaining data maps and incident registers, supporting data subject requests and audits, and developing global privacy policies, standards and training.
- Degree educated (law or technical degree preferred).
- At least 3 years' experience in data privacy, data governance or information security.
- Strong knowledge of the GDPR and awareness of international data-protection regimes.
- Practical experience with DPIAs, data mapping, incident handling and vendor/supply‑chain privacy risk management.
- Working knowledge of IT security controls and standards (eg. ISO 27001) and familiarity with data-protection risks from AI tools.
- Ability to liaise effectively with lawyers, IT and business stakeholders and to draft policy and guidance.
