Disease Litigation Solicitor — Birmingham

Join an established disease litigation team handling industrial disease claims from offices across Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Leicester. The team acts primarily for large insurer and self-insured corporate clients and manages a full range of NIHL, HAVS/WRULD and asbestos-related injury work.

You will manage your own caseload of litigated disease claims, draft strategy reports and pleadings, conduct legal research and investigations, attend conferences and court, and liaise with clients, counsel and other parties. The role includes contribution to business development and client-relationship activities, and meeting agreed financial, quality and service targets.

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX (NQ to Associate level considered)
• Experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to NIHL, HAVS/WRULD and/or asbestos-related claims
• Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills; attention to detail
• Ability to manage a caseload, meet deadlines and work independently and as part of a team
