Emerging Companies Associate, Corporate — Palo Alto

Growing corporate practice in Palo Alto seeks an associate to join an Emerging Companies / Venture team. The role offers regular exposure to venture capital financings, private company work and regional M&A and technology transactions within a collaborative, fast-paced practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and a regional team on both new and existing clients, handling deal execution, client communications and transaction documentation. The group supports a range of public and private companies across growth-stage financings, strategic M&A and commercial arrangements.

• 1–5 years' experience with venture capital financing transactions
• Additional experience desirable in M&A, corporate governance, partnerships/LLCs or commercial transactions
• California bar admission or eligibility to become admitted in California
• Familiarity with cap table platforms (e.g., Carta) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong quantitative, drafting and client communication skills; top academic credentials
