Apply in confidence →Seeking an associate to join a global law firm's Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits team in New York. The role focuses on advising public and private companies on executive compensation matters in the context of transactions and corporate operations.
Work regularly spans mergers & acquisitions, equity and equity‑based plans, bonus arrangements, nonqualified deferred compensation and other executive compensation programs, with frequent collaboration across corporate, tax, bankruptcy and employment teams.
- Minimum 3 years of U.S. law firm experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
- Admission to the New York Bar required.
- Experience advising on equity‑based plans, bonus plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation; transactional experience (M&A) preferred.
- Familiarity with qualified retirement plans, health & welfare plans, or related employee benefits issues is a plus.
