Apply in confidence →Join a busy regional employment team advising businesses, senior executives and entrepreneurs on a broad mix of advisory and contentious employment work. The role covers strategic HR advice, disciplinary and grievance matters, workplace investigations, TUPE and transactional due diligence, plus Employment Tribunal litigation and complex exits.
The postholder will work closely with other practice areas on cross-practice matters and will be expected to contribute to business development initiatives and client-facing training. This is a client-facing role for a candidate confident working both autonomously and as part of a team.
- England & Wales qualification (or equivalent) with 2–4 years' PQE
- Practical experience of Employment Tribunal litigation for claimants and/or respondents
- Strong drafting skills for both contentious and non-contentious employment work
- Experience advising on TUPE and transactional due diligence
- Knowledge of employment data protection (including DSARs) and workplace investigations
- Ability to advise on exits, restrictive covenants and senior executive issues
- Commercial mindset, excellent time management and strong written and oral communication
- Willingness to support business development and deliver client training
