Flexible, remote Employment Counsel role supporting employer-side labor and employment litigation. This position offers a reduced-hours arrangement (non-shareholder track) while retaining responsibility for full-cycle defense work on single- and multi-plaintiff matters.

Core duties include developing defense strategy, legal research and drafting, managing discovery and motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials as needed. The role is remote but requires residence in Southern California and occasional in-person participation for hearings, trials and the firm-wide attorney retreat.

Active license to practice law in California and in good standing; licensed where residing as required.
7+ years of relevant employment litigation experience (law firm or in-house).
Strong analytical, legal writing and advocacy skills; experience with discovery and dispositive motion practice.
Self-motivated and highly responsive in a remote work setting; excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
