Senior employment litigation attorney role offering remote work and reduced-hours expectations while maintaining a full-cycle defense practice. The position focuses on defending employers in single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation, with responsibility for strategy, pleadings, discovery and dispositive motion practice.

The role is designed to provide flexibility without the administrative or client-development demands of a shareholder track. The attorney will handle depositions, motion hearings, mediations and trials as needed and will be included in firm-wide training and annual attorney retreats.

Candidates must reside in Southern California and will work primarily remotely with periodic in-person obligations for hearings, trials and firm events. The position has a lower billable-hours target than traditional shareholder-track roles.

Active California bar license in good standing; licensed in state of residence as required.
7+ years of employment litigation experience (law firm or in‑house) with courtroom and motion practice exposure.
Proven ability to manage full litigation lifecycle: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations and trials.
Excellent legal research, writing, organizational skills and client-service orientation.
Self-motivated, accountable for remote work product, responsive and able to collaborate with attorneys and support staff.
