Apply in confidence →3-month, full-time (hybrid) legal consultant role based in Brisbane supporting a large financial‑services organisation. You will join via a major law firm’s flexible legal resourcing arm to deliver payroll remediation and industrial relations support.
The role focuses on reviewing and drafting business requirements for a new payroll platform, designing and helping implement an end‑to‑end payroll remediation program, and working with IR and payroll teams to ensure compliance with wage and employment legislation.
This is a hands‑on advisory position requiring clear stakeholder communication, the ability to simplify complex technical and industrial issues, and experience managing complex employment matters in large organisations.
- Minimum ~5 years’ employment/IR experience (senior associate level)
- Practical experience in payroll remediation, payroll systems or wage‑payment compliance
- Strong industrial relations background, including analysing and interpreting enterprise agreements
- Skilled at drafting business requirements and supporting end‑to‑end remediation projects
- Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia
