Employment & Labor Associate (2–5 years)

Seeking an associate to join a national firm’s Employment & Labor practice, with opportunities across multiple California offices. The role involves litigation and counseling work supporting employers on a range of employment matters.

Typical responsibilities include case development, legal research and writing, managing discovery, conducting witness interviews and investigations, and drafting briefs. The position also includes advisory work on employment policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and drafting employment and separation agreements.

• 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in employment and labor law.
• Admitted to and licensed by the California bar.
• Demonstrated experience in case development, discovery practice, investigations, and brief writing.
• Strong employment counseling experience advising on policies, compliance, and employment/separation agreements.
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills, strong academics, high motivation, and willingness to train junior colleagues.
