Employment & Labor Associate (2–5 yrs) — San Diego

Established national law firm seeks a 2–5 year associate to join its Employment & Labor group in San Diego (opportunities also in Los Angeles and Santa Monica). The role combines litigation and counseling work across employment matters, with exposure to case development, discovery, witness interviews and brief writing.

Ideal candidates will handle both litigation tasks and employment counseling — advising on policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and separation agreements — while contributing to training and mentoring junior attorneys. • 2–5 years of experience in employment/labor law (litigation and counseling experience preferred)
• Admissions to the California bar required
• Strong legal research and writing skills; experience with discovery, witness interviews/investigations, and brief drafting
• Experience advising on employment policies, compliance, and separation agreements; willingness to mentor junior colleagues
