Top-tier national firm is seeking a 2nd–5th year employment & labor attorney to join its Employment & Labor practice. The role is open to candidates in multiple California offices (San Diego, Los Angeles or Santa Monica) and combines litigation and counseling work across employment matters.

Typical responsibilities include case development, legal research and writing, discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and drafting briefs. The position also involves employment counseling — advising on workplace policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and drafting employment and separation agreements.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay; the expected annual pay range for this role is $235,000–$365,000 (final offers depend on location and experience).

2–5 years of post-qualification experience in employment and labor law
Admission to the California bar required
Proven experience with case development, discovery, witness interviews/investigations, and brief writing
Employment counseling experience (policies, compliance, employment/separation agreements)
Strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing and communication skills, high initiative, and willingness to mentor junior attorneys
